The Project Begins

April 6, 2008

As you might have noticed I don’t blog very often, mostly since I don’t find anything interesting to blog about in my life and I don’t like to re-blog. That might be changing since I’ve just started on my final exam project and I’m thinking about blogging about the process. Might even start using MarsEdit for it :)

I will be focusing on usability and interface design more than actual programming and communication and I will completely skip the marketing side of the project since as of now it will never open up to the general public after the exams are done. Maybe that will change later this year but as of now I have no interest in running a startup.

What I do have an interest in is working on my own as a freelance programmer / interface designer. So when I finish school next summer I’m gonna get some Air, sit at Starbucks and write code all day, that will be the life although in reality it will probably be an iMac in some cramped apartment with noodles and instant coffee, at least in the beginning. Or maybe it will be in some other country then Denmark or Iceland, one that actually has Starbucks.

Anyways, this is a little update of what is going on in my head tonight. Tomorrow the real work begins, gonna wake up at 07:30 and get at least three things done :)

The Real First Post

March 26, 2008

I was sitting at the bar this wednesday with a friend of mine drinking a Brooklyn Brewery IPA while he was having his regular Tuborg pint and celebrating that we just handed in a project for school. He said I should start blogging about my beer drinking and like rating it and stuff. And if I didn’t remember how it tasted after the weekend I would have to get some more and drink it while I was reviewing it. I think he’s right, I my not be on the same level as Bjórbókin but what ever, I can still write about about beer :)
